AGM

Our Annual General Meeting provides a forum for RTAM members to receive updates on our organization, vote on important matters and engage directly with leadership.

Attendance is voluntary for members at large. Members are welcome to register for a Zoom link that will be moderated during the event and will allow you to vote on formal proceedings.

General members are not endorsed to make reimbursement claims to the RTAM office. Chapter presidents will receive a formal invitation from RTAM’s board of directors, which describes the parameters for claims.

2024 Fall Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Fall date: Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024

Time: Virtual Lobby Opens 8:30 a.m. CST

          AGM 9:00a.m. to 12:00p.m.

Location: Online only, registration through GetQuorum, link being sent through email

Why has the AGM been moved from the spring to the fall?

For 2024 and moving forward the RTAM Board of Directors has changed the date of the Annual General Meeting. The meeting will take place within 6 months of the RTAM fiscal year ending (June 30th), to be in line with the CRA reporting standards for non-profit organizations.

How do I register?

RTAM has contracted Get Quorum to help manage our online Annual General Meeting. We are hoping this improves access to all Manitobans and our members across Canada and Internationally, while also improving the ease of voting and helping to provide support documents for review.

1. All RTAM members will receive an electronic invitation to join the Annual General Meeting. This invitation will be sent to the email you have on file with RTAM. These invitations and registration links go out starting Friday November 1st.

2. Once you register, you will get a confirmation email with unique log in credentials. You will also get links to videos on how to work through the AGM, ask questions and vote.

3. If you don't pre-register, Get Quorum and RTAM will send a reminder invitation the morning of the AGM.

4. Starting Friday November 8th, you may call the RTAM office if you are having problems registering for the AGM or have not received the link (204)889-3660.

5. Please note, registration is unique to each member. This means:

- Registration links cannot be shared

- Only one person per device may vote at the meeting

- Multiple devices using the same link will remove those participants from the meeting
