A New Way to Connect: RTAM Opens Membership to the Education Community

At RTAM, we believe that the strength of our community lies in the people who have dedicated their careers to education. Whether you were in the classroom, supporting students, working behind the scenes, or contributing in any other way to the education sector, you’ve helped shape the future—and now, we want to welcome you into ours.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Education Community Membership, now open to anyone who has worked in the education sector. This new membership type provides full access to RTAM’s extensive benefits, including:

✔ Comprehensive insurance plans
✔ Engaging events and programs
✔ A vibrant network of like-minded retirees

While this membership does come with some restrictions—Education Community Members are not eligible to join the Board or vote at the AGM—we believe it offers incredible value and a sense of belonging to those who have contributed to education in Manitoba and beyond.

We are also proud to welcome the University of Manitoba Retirees Association (UMRA), who have joined us on this journey as of March 2025. Their members now have access to all that RTAM offers, and we look forward to growing together.
