Welcome everyone to our AGM news story for the upcoming Fall 2024 RTAM Annual General Meeting.

Please note, all formal articles, dates and registration forms will be found on the formal website page for this event (which can be found here https://www.rtam.mb.ca/en/about/agm/).

This years AGM will be an online only event to ensure that everyone can participate in the same manner and that access to the event is shared to everyone in our Province and out of Province. Registration will open on October 31st for this event.

Some of the business RTAM is looking to address at the Fall AGM will be the upcoming budget and auditors for 2025-2026, an increase to membership fees, an addition to membership types and updates to RTAM bylaws to help our claim limits fall in line with those of the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA).

We have moved our AGM from the spring (May) to the Fall (November) to follow CRA guidelines and recommendations that non-profit organizations report their annual financial reports to members within 6 months of the year end. In previous years, our year end would complete on June 30th (new fiscal beginning July 1st) and we wouldn't report the financial to our members until ten or eleven months later in May. To keep within the 6 month reporting window, we have updated the date for our AGM.
